This past weekend I took some more photos of my niece, Addelyn. I am doing a monthly session of her so my sister can fill up her monthly frame with beautiful photos of her little sweetie! Addelyn was 2 months old on the 14th of February. We made this photo session about Addy and her Papa (and a little about the whole family too!)-check it out! xoxo.
Connor is 11 Months Old.
My Connor boy is 11 Months old today. A few days ago we were forecasted to get about 7 inches of snow in the Twin Cities area….well….there is barely 2 inches of snow at our house….but I still managed to get Connor outside while it was snowing and snap some 11 month photos of him. He LOVED the snow. He couldn’t get enough of it! One month from today my little (or should I say BIG!?) man will be 1….my how time flies…. xoxo.

Pajama Morning {Noah is 2}
Two. {My Noah Bear}
A few weeks ago my biggest boy turned two years young. TWO. Time flies by so fast that my memory is starting to forget how he was as a newborn baby. He is anything but a baby now…..Noah loves to chase his little brother, he is a non-stop talker, and the funniest little boy I have ever met. His silly facial expressions get funnier by the day. Anything cars/trucks/tractor/train {“choo choo”}/airplane/construction related is at the center of Noah’s attention at all times. He loves to read books and be read to. If I ask for a kiss, he gives me one <3. He loves to do his “happy dance,” and does. not. stop. moving. EVER. He is 100% a Daddy’s boy but loves to hug his Mama tight. Noah bear…you are growing up. I love it and I hate it at the same time. xo.
This year I took some photos of Noah playing in his jammies too-they will be up soon. xo.
Connor Boy {10 Months Young}
The Scariest Day of Our Lives.

Counting my blessings today. My two boys are happy and healthy. Yesterday my husband and I went through an event that was something we never expected to experience as parents. Connor (our 9 month old) choked on a pretzel he grabbed off the floor (Noah was walking around eating a few of them). All it took was a split second of my husband and I talking and Connor stuck the pretzel in his mouth and started choking. He has choked before so I was thinking this would be like the other times he choked on a cheerio or put too many puffs in his mouth…It was not.
My husband tried to get the pretzel out. Then I tried. Nothing was working. We saw Connor turn bright red and look at us with sad eyes. He was helpless. The pretzel would come up his throat and we would try to grab it but it kept getting pushed back down. When I couldn’t get the pretzel out-I knew this was really serious. We called 911 and not even 1 minute went by and the paramedics were at our house. Pat and I felt like we were going to lose our little boy. We did EVERYTHING we could-but it seemed like nothing was working.
When the paramedics arrived Connor was ok. I believe he was in shock-he didn’t cry. He was choking for what seemed like an eternity and then suddenly he was ok. While I was smacking his back he threw up all over the kitchen floor and then he looked at me with his big eyes, and stuffed his nuk in his mouth and acted normal. The pretzel somehow went down his windpipe….and he was ok. I can’t even begin to describe the terror we felt while he was choking and the relief we felt when we knew he was ok. My body didn’t stop shaking for at least an hour afterwards.
I am not one to be religious or talk about god or angels. In fact, I do not even know if I believe in God or the Bible. But I am now a believer that Connor had a guardian angel. The struggle he went through was horrible to watch, and for him to suddenly be perfectly fine is a miracle to my husband and I. Something or some one was watching over him yesterday and I am so very thankful to hear his cry this morning when he woke up and hear his sweet laugh while playing with his big Brother. we. are. blessed. xo.

Mr. & Mrs. Jacobson {Married 10.13.12}
The moment I met Danielle and Brian I just knew that their wedding was going to be one-of-a-kind.

Danielle is a do-it-yourself crafty girl and all around fun personality. She is truly amazing. Brian has a sense of humor that would be hard for anyone else to match-he made laugh during their engagement shoot and on their wedding day! Their personalities complement one another SO well.

Although it rained on their wedding day (which IS good luck!!), Danielle and Brian kept their spirits high and didn’t let anything put a damper on their day. They were surrounded by family and friends-nothing could have been more perfect. Check out the AMAZING Fall color!

When it comes to details….this wedding blew me away. Danielle and Brian thought of EVERYTHING. This bouquet was one of the most breath-taking bouquets that I had ever seen.
The Bride & her girls.

The Groom and his guys.

The Ceremony.

The Kiss.

The Reception.
Earlier I mentioned that Danielle likes to DIY. Well…she out did herself on her wedding day! From the signs on the candy table at their reception, to the beer mugs & wine glasses for the wedding party, to the center pieces with special “typed” messages on the tables….the bride rocks!

Danielle & Brian,
I can’t thank you enough for sharing your big day with me. I absolutely loved capturing your special moments ;). Best of luck in your future and have a Happy Holiday!
xo.
