Sweet as can be…

In 2006 I met my wonderful husband-Patrick Rivers.  Being that my family was small (just 3 of us girls), & his family was HUGE (2 boys and 4 girls), we quickly learned how different (and how FABULOUS) each of our different families were.  For example-I have 5 cousins-TOTAL.  He has so many I can’t count them.  :).  I finally had the opportunity to meet the rest of my husband’s cousins this summer while at a family get-together in Mankato, MN.  Let me tell you-these cousins {Erin, Jenny, & Carissa} remind me of my sisters and my family-funny, a little bit crazy, and a whole lot of wild all rolled into one!  I had the privilege of photographing their families and children this evening.  I am blessed.  Thank you for a wonderful opportunity Meg & Family.  I hope to see you more in the future and get to know your kiddos (and photograph them more of course!) xoxo. Love.

Love on a PERFECT day.

On June 26, 2011 I was lucky enough to capture Stephanie and Charlie’s love for one another while photographing their wedding.  Stephanie is an old co-worker of mine from Caribou Coffee-and when asked to document their special day-I was delighted.  Cheers to a fabulous couple, getting married on a perfect day, and to many, many more perfect years together! xoxo-here is a sneak peek of their photos-

Love At First Sight

Perfect. In. Every. Way. xo.

On January 12, 2011 I was lucky enough to experience love at first sight.  For 10 long months my husband and I had been anticipating the arrival of our son-Noah Patrick Rivers.  He arrived at 8:43 pm and weighed a light 7 lbs and 1 oz.  Our little peanut was delivered via c-section after I experienced 24 long hours of labor. When Noah was delivered I couldn’t see anything that was going on-all I heard was the small cry and I could see ALL THAT HAIR from the corner of my eye!  I was immediately in love.  It has been 1 month since Noah Patrick graced us with his presence and life has never been better.  Being a Mom is the best gift I have ever been given.  Here are a few precious moments I have captured since his birth.
